We believe that Norse Paganism should be approached with curiosity, honesty, and a willingness to learn. Our community encourages thoughtful discussion, historical research, and reconstructionist practice while recognising that everyone's journey is unique.
We are an active community that brings people together through education, discussion, events, mentoring, and shared learning. Our goal is to create a place where people feel welcome regardless of their experience, background, or where they are in their Norse journey.
We are not built around politics, personal status, or gatekeeping. Instead, our community is founded on the values of Frith, Knowledge, Fellowship, and Respect.
What We Offer
As a member of Balðrsfolk, you'll have access to a growing range of resources and opportunities, including weekly educational lessons through our Learning Hall, articles covering Norse history, mythology, archaeology, language, runes, cosmology, and reconstructionist Norse Paganism, as well as community discussions where members can ask questions and share knowledge.
Throughout the year we also host seasonal holy tides, blóts, online events, community activities, competitions, and live discussions. Members can also apply for one-to-one mentoring, tutoring, and spiritual guidance, providing personalised support for those who wish to deepen their understanding or receive help navigating their own path.
Whether you're interested in historical study, spirituality, language, mythology, or simply meeting like-minded people, there is a place for you within Balðrsfolk.
