Meet the Balðrsfolk Administration Team
Behind every strong community is a team of people dedicated to helping it thrive.
At Balðrsfolk, our administration team exists for one purpose: to serve the community.
While each member holds a role or title within the community, these titles are not about status, authority, or placing one person above another. They exist simply to help organise the community, provide guidance, and ensure that every member has someone they can turn to for support.
We believe leadership is measured by service, not by power.
Every member of the administration team is committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and educational environment where people from all walks of life can learn about Norse Paganism, ask questions without fear of judgement, and build lasting friendships with others who share their interests.
Our team works together as one, combining different strengths and experiences to support the community. Some specialise in historical education and research, others in spiritual guidance, community moderation, event organisation, member welfare, or helping newcomers find their feet. Together, we strive to ensure that Balðrsfolk remains a safe, friendly, and inspiring place for everyone.
The administration team also oversees many of the activities that make Balðrsfolk what it is today, including:
Moderating our Facebook page and community chats.
Providing guidance and support to members.
Hosting weekly live educational lessons.
Answering historical and spiritual questions.
Organising community blóts, honourings, and seasonal events.
Welcoming new members into the community.
Encouraging respectful discussion and maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Supporting members through one-to-one conversations whenever guidance is needed.
Planning community projects, video gatherings, and future events.
One of the things that makes Balðrsfolk different is that we operate as a collaborative team. Decisions are discussed together, ideas are shared openly, and every member of the administration has an equal voice in helping shape the future of our community. We believe that wisdom grows through cooperation, not hierarchy, and that the strongest communities are built when people work together toward a common purpose.
Above all else, we are fellow members of Balðrsfolk.
We are students of the old ways, just as you are. We continue to learn every day, and we do not claim to have all the answers. Our role is simply to share what we have learned, encourage others on their own journeys, and help ensure that every person who joins Balðrsfolk feels welcomed, respected, and supported.
If you ever have a question, need guidance, require assistance, or simply want someone to talk to, please don't hesitate to reach out to any member of the team.
Our door is always open, and our hearth is always warm.
Meet the Balðrsfolk Spiritual & Educational Team
Every community benefits from people who dedicate their time to helping others learn, grow and navigate their spiritual path. While no one person holds all the answers, our Spiritual Team is here to offer guidance, support and knowledge to those who seek it.

Together we learn. Together we grow.
