One of the things that makes Balðrsfolk different is that our community doesn't end with the Facebook page. We have dedicated community chats where members can connect with one another, ask questions, learn, and become part of a thriving international community.

When you join Balðrsfolk, we aim to add every member to both of our community chats, ensuring everyone has access to our educational content, discussions, live events, and the wider community.

Sun Vault Learning Chat

The Sun Vault is our dedicated educational community.

It was created to ensure that valuable lessons and historical discussions don't disappear beneath general conversation, giving members an organised space where learning is always easy to find.

Within the Sun Vault you'll discover:

  • Weekly live learning sessions.

  • Historical discussions and source studies.

  • Norse mythology and lore.

  • The Eddas, Sagas, and historical texts.

  • Rune studies.

  • Seiðr, Spá, and Galdr discussions.

  • Archaeology and Norse Age history.

Why Two Chats?

We created two separate community spaces because we wanted to give both conversation and education the attention they deserve.

Our main Community Chat allows members to socialise freely without worrying about interrupting lessons, while the Sun Vault provides a dedicated environment where educational content can be easily found, revisited, and discussed in depth.

Together, they create a balanced community where friendship and learning go hand in hand.
